Our Committees

The Baltic Treasury Association operates dedicated committees that help deliver value to our members and advance the treasury profession across the Baltic region. Each committee is led by experienced members who volunteer their expertise to support association’s initiatives, governance, and community growth.

Our committees focus on key areas of the association’s activities: member engagement, strategic partnership, and financial stewardship. Together, they ensure that Baltrea remains a strong, transparent, and collaborative professional network.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for growing and supporting the our member community. It focuses on ensuring that the association delivers meaningful value to treasury professionals at every stage of their careers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies to attract new members across the Baltic region

  • Supporting engagement of our members

  • Gathering feedback to improve the member experience

  • Promoting member participation in events and initiatives

  • Strengthening connections within the treasury community

The committee plays a central role in fostering a strong, collaborative network of treasury professionals who share knowledge, best practices, and opportunities.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee oversees the financial management and long-term sustainability of the association. Its role is to ensure that the association operates responsibly, transparently, and in alignment with its strategic vision and mission.

The committee works closely with the board to ensure that annual financial reports are used effectively to support member activities, events, and professional development initiatives.

Partnerships Committee

The Partnerships Committee develops and manages relationships with external organisations that support the mission of Baltic Treasury Association. This includes other professional associations, universities, governmental bodies, and other industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strategic partnerships that benefit our members and our profession

  • Identifying hosts and collaborators for events and initiatives

  • Developing mutually beneficial cooperation with industry partners

  • Supporting knowledge sharing and education
